Volunteer Information

We Need You!!!!

The "Air" Wahoos Dive Team cannot function without your support.  Please make sure the Team Representative (Kathleen Moyer) knows how you can contribute.  Specific volunteer support follows.

Dive Meet Set-up/Tear-down: For home meets the pool furniture will need to be arranged to support spectator seating as well as officials seating and a scorers table.  Additionally, set-up of canopies and a sound system are required.  Many hands make this a small task.

Dive Meet Officials: Several officials are required to run an efficient event whether home or away. Clinics and training is provided for these positions.

   - Referee (home meets only)
   - 2 Judges (home meet) or 3 Judges (away meets)
   - Meet Secretary (home meets only)
   - 2 Scorers Table workers (all meets)
   - Announcer (home meets only)

NVSL provides training for Referees, Judges, Meet Workers. This years clinics are:

  • June 26th 6:30pm at Camelot

Concessions:  Walden Glen is known for running an efficient concessions which offers a variety of food and good service.  Again, this is just not possible without the help of parent volunteers.  The last couple years, different volunteers have each taken onr home meet to run. During the meet, parents cover for each other so everyone has the opportunity to see their child compete.
